About
Alastair has long been a participant in the performing arts community, fourteen years of performance of all types. For six years Alastair has shifted their focus and started greasing the skids backstage. Their focus is lighting design and electrics, with additional skills in scenic design and costume construction.
They grew up in a small mountain town with a family of construction workers. This came with experience in roofing, forest management experience, and education at an outdoors and arts focused charter school. Here they participated in violin recitals, the SWEET drama program, and a weekly small ensemble of local musicians. For high school they moved to Chico's Inspire School of Arts & Science for their musical theater program. While achieving a musical theater degree they discovered a passion for technical theater.
